Everyone on here says to try the test socket and i did now no one posts back now
Can you confirm that when you plugged into the Test socket, any other sockets you have had no dial tone? Can you also confirm that you used only the ADSL cable supplied by Sky and not an extension of any kind. If the answer to these is yes, then it looks like you have a fault on your external line. Can you do a quiet line test by plugging into the Test socket and dialing 1 digit and listening. You should hear nothing, except possibly a very quiet hiss. Anything more and you should report it to your phone provider, Sky, as a noisy voice line.
