Because it's a residential service we shouldn't expect sky to feel obliged to fix it in quick time with any sort of compensation but to accept their scheduled date. it maybe a tough ask for some but we just have to be patient.

Don't get me wrong, i agree with you.
I was only mearly talking about the capacity issue, and not your problem with the advisor enabling dlm which i can see was a bad mistake and should of been known from the off.
Everyone expects to get what they pay for but there's always small print as we know, i'm in the same boat and i can sympathize with you. perhaps i have learnt to accept it and for others it's a different matter.
Just hope it gets fixed soon.

Day 14 of the new line train i never wanted , my sync has dropped again to 7104 down and up 416 kbps from 7884 down and 800kbps up. Funny thing is my attenuation is dropping with my speeds from 47 db to 43 db, either I do make the earth move or this ISP have had enough of changing definitions of the English language and are now embarking on changing the Law of physics, perhaps they will convince the field where Hawkings as failed to date!
Line connection testingcompleted on 03/02/2012, resulting in the following settings:

Sounds like it's changed to GDMT, hence the drop in attenuation. There's obviously something triggering DLM

I did consider the change in modulation, although I would have expected to drop too 39db where G.DMT sat before! However would i go back on the ip profile for my down speed, if so its exceptional line Openreach maintains and for me, exceptional from the test socket.

Mmm, sorry its taken so long, I have been attempting to fill in application form, although I have managed it, the page would not load every time I hit the next button "woops error" Needless to say just re enforces my view that SKY are crap. The stats are from the Sky router supplied and TEST Socket. not much difference, though different routers will report different attenuation, I ve seen as much 5db on my line, 2700hvg Vs HH2 b! when i was BT (ADSLMAX ON BOTH) however they both gave me Ip profile 6.5 mbps.
