Just tried the same procedure for MER and it DOESN'T work.
Looks like its back to the drawing board for MER

None of my routers use MER so i can't help I afraid.

One other thing that occured to me, in the config is the settings for looking for an updated FW
Not that it bothers me but I wonder if you could physically turn this feature off if you wanted to?

Have been having a bash at MER but no joy just does not accept the changes, because when I take a new save of the backup config file, I am presented with the original DNS settings and not the updated.
Has anyone got any further with MER changes?

I'm having trouble getting this to work, I've followed the guide but each time I restore the conf file my connection changes to MER/pppoa rather than the pppoa it was before and I have a solid amber light. I've only recently come back to sky so may have a newer firmware - 5.23.1a4N
