Good to see. It might be nice to see daily updates as DLM has been revamped recently.

Remember that it will be a gradual increase over the next 3-10 days or so.

Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

I've gained quite a bit of info from this site so it would be rude for me not to put something back, however trivial.

I'll do some thread updates in case it helps other newbies.

Thanks again for all your help.

Re: Newbie considering moving to Sky.

Looking good, with still loads of room for improvement.

As previously mentioned, there have been a few changes to DLM so it will be good to see if there is any change to the pattern of configuring a line.

This is perfectly normal. As the line speed increases, the Noise Margins will decrease. Sky used to have a fixed target of 7dB for the noise margin, but this has now been changed in some cases.

From my understanding there are still plenty of 7dB profiles, but the are additional profiles that use smaller noise margins.

As Adam has correctly stated, there is still room for a lot of improvement.

Re: Newbie considering moving to Sky.

      Morning.

Day 4 of DLM and no change today.

No WAN reset happened at the usual 05:30 today.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 12286 kbps 945 kbps
Line Attenuation 24.5 dB 14.7 dB
Noise Margin 9.8 dB 15.3 dB

I'm hoping that's not the end of things...
