as I said earlier I have seen 26,000k and almost 27,000k syncs on ADSL2+ on an Australian DSL website (fastest is 26,924k)

The personnel at Sky will have systems available to show them what the line is capable of, but the figures that I posted earlier are direct from my router.

Mine syncs higher than 19999. But still my speedtest figures are lower than Scubbies..

When I run the tests on my connection, I tend to run two or three on a single server, then change servers. At the end of the session I have a better picture of what my line is capable of.
Later in the day, and on a few other days in the same week, repeat the tests on multiple servers.
I have one or two with a lower ping, but the majority are around the same value as I have in my signature. There are more with higher ping values though.
The majority of the speeds are in the range of what I have in my signature.
Finally I picked a good representative result.
