New to Sky BB

Hey guys,

Just transferred to Sky BB Unltd from an old AOL ADSL package.

On the old AOL package I was getting 5344kb/s download and 448kb/s upload with a line attenuation of 41dB down, SNR was 12dB down.

I assume I'm now connected via ADSL2+ and since I was activated yesterday Sky are currently running DLM training? Their confirmation letter did state they would be running it for the 1st 10 days and they would start me off on 4000kb/s

Judging by the stats below, any idea what I could potentially end up with when DLM finishes?

You should get more than you are but with the SNR at 7dB it will currently stay as it is. How are you set up at present?

Kitz reckons I shoud be getting approx 6800kb/s

Ah, just realised what you meant..

Sagem Fast 2504 plugged directly to master socket via ADSL filter (non Sky supplied). I have a splitter for telephone extensions but this is connected after the ADSL filter...

As in how things are connected in the house...

- Are you using the master socket?
- How many sockets do you have in the property?
- Are all sockets filtered correctly?

Aha, it seems we've had a bit of a boost courtesy of DLM.

New stats are:

Line Attenuation	46.5 dB	27.0 dB
Noise Margin	7.8 dB	12.4 dB
