Re: bojour and airprint iphone router compatability
If you have a network printer (doesn't have to be wireless networking), AirPrint is still possible! More details later if you're still interested as my pizza delivery has just arrived...

Re: bojour and airprint iphone router compatability
OK, if you're a Mac user (like me and my lot) then all you need to know/do/download is here:
AirPrint Activator « Netputing
Works a treat from iPhones and iPads!
If you're a Windows user, see here for more info (obviously I haven't tried this but it looks similar!):
Activate AirPrint on Windows | 9to5Mac | Apple Intelligence++ speedyrite ... powered by NOW Broadband from June 2018 ++

I don't have a mac, I can print wirelessly from my laptop but not from my iPhone using AirPrint. Googling I know that my ISP router is incompatible, before I commit to sky I need to know that their routers have the capability to facilitate AirPrint. Can anyone provide details?
Thanks

Re: bojour and airprint iphone router compatability
The official Apple AirPrint feature requires an Airprint-enabled printer on your wireless network
(see Apple (United Kingdom) - iPhone 4S - Print from your iPhone with AirPrint.).
But there is a way to "AirPrint" from your iPhone to most makes of network printer (doesn't have to be wireless). Details for windows user here:
Activate AirPrint on Windows | 9to5Mac | Apple Intelligence
This should work with any wireless enabled router irrespective of ISP.++ speedyrite ... powered by NOW Broadband from June 2018 ++

Thank you for the previous replies, I feel that I should update my original posts, 1. I have an iPhone
2. I have an AirPrint comparable printer
3. I am aware and can print via email to the printer but that is long winded and not in the spirit of being able to select the printer on the iPhone and press one button to print.
It seems that although AirPrint had been around for some months now very few routers are compatible with its functionality. As I am not a technophile my easiest option is to move my current expired ISP contract and go to a provider who can support air printing on its router. To date I have not been able to able to get this information. I can't believe that I am the only one experiencing this. Rock on.

Re: bojour and airprint iphone router compatability
I suppose your solution is go to an ISP who either does not supply a router or allows you to use your own. You can then buy one to suit you. I don't think you can expect any ISP to cater for everything, especially a minority product like Airprint compatible printers.
