New Stats - any good?
Hi,
Was wondering if anyone could comment on my router stats (have the F@ST2504n router):
ADSL Link
Connection Speed
Downstream 5020 kbps
Upstream 797 kbps
Line Attenuation
46.0 dB
27.5 dB
Noise Margin
7.1 dB
12.4 dB
I only switched to Sky on 5th January, was previously with o2 LLU and was getting just over 6000kbps downstream with just over 1000kbps up. Also any speed tests I do online now only show me as having around 3-4 download speeds.....quite new to this so any comments if I could be getting any more appreciated!

there not bad stats but it all depends on how far you are from the exchange.

You could probably get Sky to increase your upstream speed, however , with the downstream you are restricted as Sky run at a higher noise margin than O2 which will explain the differences.
Having said that I think your downstream speed is perhaps lower than it could be. Just how is the router connected to the phone line?
