New router
Had a new router sent due to losing broadband for 24 days, it didn't fix the problem they had to replace the line back to the exchange and we were without a telephone for 2 days. I haven't been charged for the router yet...when does the charge turn up? 14 days or something? I need to send it back other wise

Re: New router
If there is going to be a charge, it will be shown on your My Sky page. Check your bill for next month.
Perhaps because you had no Internet for so long and the telephone was down too, they may waive the chargeIf Sky doesn't, a quick polite call should be enough to get some recompense.

Re: New router
No problem. I would have thought that Sky would have added the cost of the replacement router to your next monthly bill to avoid cards.
In that case you will need to check your card account periodically. It should have been applied instantly.

Re: New router
There is, almost certainly, NO charge to be paid!
As you reported a fault Sky will, almost certainly, have marked the router down as a "replacement". The fact that the fault has gone away does not seem to worry them! I now have a router and a spare in similar circumstances!

Re: New router
ah cheers for that, but he definitely said it would be a £27 charge as the original equipment belongs to me. Email states it was dispatched on 4th January, order made 31st December. Wish I had asked for the N router now but he said that would be £35. It was the CST side not first support lot.
