Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
It is too early to tell. What your connection's "WAN Up time".
When this has been up for more than 72 hours, this will indicate that DLM has completed. The WAN Up time will reset between the hours of 1am and 6am whilst DLM is in progress. Sometimes this will be daily, sometimes it will miss a day or two.
Once DLM has completed, post your stats in this thread and we can advise what action to take from there.

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
If DLM is still running (it doesn't look like your connection was reset last night) then check to see what figures you get tomorrow.
Alternatively, log into your 'My Sky' account on the Sky website and see if that confirms that DLM has completed. This information can take up to 3 days to be updated.
As things stand, you do have some room for improvement, but I also believe that you would be better on an ADSL1 connection, not ADSL2+ (which you are on currently). There is an area where ADSL1 can give better connection speeds than ADSL2+ and from your Line Attenuation I would suggest that you are in that zone.
Just in case, I will ask where & how your router is connected to the telephone line. Ideally you should be connected to the Master Socket. If you have any hard-wired extensions, then could you plug the router into the Test Socket (see previous link for details) if you have one. This can improve things.

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
It only appears to have re-synched with the exchange the previous night so far - only effect was upload went from 605 to 798
Web site shows line testing still in progress
I am plugged into the master socket with an ADSL Nation faceplate

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
No problem.
Leave things as they are for now. It may be that nothing bad will happen.
Unfortunately Sky personnel are not allowed to jump in when DLM is still running. They have to wait for it to complete, then things can be sorted if required.

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
See how things are tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately it isn't worth calling Sky's support to adjust your connection speed before DLM has officially completed. Their systems will update around the same time as your 'My Sky' page.
As previously mentioned, I still believe that you would be better off on an ADSL1 connection. When you do get to call Sky's support team, ask them to place you on 'G.DMT' to see if this can improve your connection speed.
Remember to check both the downstream & upstream speeds and post them when all has been completed. Ideally the Noise Margins should be near 7dB for both sides.

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
Thanks Scubbie
To be honest I'm 0.5Mbps better on the down (non BRAS) than my previous ISP and 286K on the up so if it stays like this at the money I saving its still a bonus ;-)
But like all of us I'd never say no to more------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
Perhaps in August, when your exchange gets Fibre, sky will have launched their fibre products and you may be able to consider moving across so that you can get something like 60mb/s+
