Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
So DLM according to mysky is over and I have
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4092 kbps 796 kbps
Line Attenuation 55.5 db 33.4 db
Noise Margin 7.1 db 12.5 db
I guess I'm about there on download. Is it now time to ask for G.DMT ? Will that get me more Upload ?------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Power Issues - DLM effect ?
Sure it is time to give Sky a call now. From what little I know of the profiles, I can't see you getting much more on the upload speed, but certainly the download should give a little more on G.DMT.
Please be patient as not all the people at Sky have the powers to reconfigure a line manually. Politely suggest that you do not want them to rerun DLM (many jump to this conclusion) as it will not put you on DLM.
Generally I tend to advise people to expect to make two or three calls before you actually get some who knows what they are doing.
Watch both the up & down figures, some tend to concentrate on just the downstream and mess up the upstream connection. Please post the final figures when all has been completed.
