Bt infinity
Are sky going to start using the new fibre optic cabling that bt are laying? They have done it my area however I am only getting 2.2 Mbps at the moment.

No one is 100% sure just yet what is happening and when.
There is a lot of speculation and various rumours. These are being discussed in a rather long thread which you are welcome to join in:

Essentially it looks possible that Sky may be ready to launch a fibre based product range soon. What prices, bandwidth allowance and T&Cs are applied is all unknown.
