I'm new here: Just after some general advice

Hi everyone I'm new here. I currently work for Sky tier 1 BB+Talk tech support. I have been here for almost 5 months and have learnt quite a lot so far. A lot of my work colleagues have recommended this website and I will be taking a look at all the sticky threads to widen my knowledge.

I just want anyone who already works for Sky tech support on this forum to give me any advice they think will benefit my work and knowledge. Long reads certain forum topics websites links specific problems and general fixes quick fixes the lot :-D

I will also try my best to help anyone on this forum where I think I can.

As someone who doesn't work for Sky, I would suggest the best thing to do is to join in where you can and offer suitable help as required.

For me I have picked up plenty of extra specific tips applicable to the Sky systems, which I am sure you will too.

The hardest thing for anyone is to know when to bow out gracefully from a thread and let someone with more knowledge/experience chip in, especially when it is your work.

As for where you are, darn! I've just returned from that area having spent Christmas not so far away from you.
