Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
OK so SKY network appears to be fine during heavy times thats good news. I don't have business just brought it as though would get faster/better service and only £15pm thought it was cheap! Plus I pay extra £5 for static IP.
I don't download much just stream more than anything. Ping important here. But download important for when needed.

Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
Sky's IPs are dynamic, but 'sticky'. I would suggest that you look at DynDNS if you need access to a known connection in future.

Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
Just went active! Put my sky bb username and password in to my personal router (not supplied router) Netgear N600 and it connected right away.
Well speeds I'm getting are stone age for 2012.
Downstream Sync of 4098kbps and SNR 15.9
Anytime+ not working on my 1TB box yet also even though I'm on the sky network now.
I'm using these DNS 90.207.238.97,90.207.238.99. Ran name bench test and results show that Google Public DNS is 3.5% faster than sky's own.
Anyone know Sky's DNS list? Which is fastest? Sky just in theory have fastest DNS as should be shortest route but.....

Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
You are now on the start up speed. Over the next 3 days DLM will kick in and the speed will gradually increase over a further period of 10 days.
As for Anytime+, this needs to be enabled. Check your My Sky account to see if it has been added, then allow a couple of days for it to go live.
At the moment all is absolutely fine.

Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
Anytime+ is nothing to do with BT so that's a load of rubbish. They probably haven't activated it yet

Re: Get SKYBB Soon Advise Required.
DLM finished not impressed time to move back to BT? Any help?
Issues:
Down sync: 19995 up: 1179 with BT down: 24382 up: 1279
Average ping 30-50ms before with BT 19-24ms
Interleave a whopping 480/8 before with bt fastpath 1/1
Note: SNR was 7.0 down but manually changed to 3.4 (made no difference)
