Slow connection on sky
i have ordered a new micro filter to improve noise margin but according to my paretn paper work they should be running upto 8mgb this is the stats to the router, I cant compare to anyone elses so can anyone tell me if this is good/bad?? or what? you tube vids take for ever to load always freezing etc

You're apparently heavily called but I'd try your test socket first assuming you have one and see if you get the same speeds. If they go up you're looking at something your end causing the issue

How to test your ADSL in the Master Test Socket
If there is little or no difference, call Sky and ask them to reconfigure your line. In addition, if you only have one phone socket, don't bother with the Test socket, just phone Sky.

Surely you wouldn't expect a change very quickly on Connect. BT's systems can take days to reflect any changes to wiring etc.
But it would be useful to repost stats when using the Test socket.
Also if you go to BT's speedtest site ( Test Result ) and perform the test & post back the full result that would provide very useful info.

Although the speed would not increase for up to 3 days, the actual sync speed would show an increase if something within the house was causing a problem.
