Re: new sky bb set up
They can move the broadband from one card to another in the exchange, but that is unlikely to be the fault. If they have moved your line it looks like they have moved it to a poorer performing connection than the original. All you can do is keep on at Sky to get it fixed.

Re: new sky bb set up
new stats: they told me that they can not put the line higher, he said he has got it syncing at 16mb, however it is not, there are no line errors also, got a open reach bb enginer coming out on thursday.
asked him to sync it at 12 he said he could not as there is no profile for 12mb??
i thought sky could enter a sync speed of there or my choice and fix it at that, i told him i would take full responsibilty for any stababilty issues, he says hes sending 16mb sync from the exchange but my router is only seeing 8mb
i thought if he was sending 16, id see 16 as the sync

Re: new sky bb set up
The line would need uncapped to 20000/1216 if you want a higher upstream.

Re: new sky bb set up
Personally, if I were you, I'd wait for the SFI visit and then call for the reprofile. You'd rather have a stable line for the time being than one that'll possibly drop out until the line is sorted (if there is a fault present and the line isn't just of bad quality).
