Router will not stay synced

I can accept that. However my problem is not intermittent, it's pretty much a permanent fault now.

I feel for you i can imagine a intermitant fault must be so annoying. One thing i would like to mention is that alot of people on hear tend to have a little rant about the sky customer service but i must say i think they are pretty dam good compared to someone like talk talk.

I had a similar issue like yourself very intermitant connection phoned up sky went through the normal tier one script which you just have to grin and bare my details got passed to CST and i recieved a phone call the next day and had an openreach engineer sent out within one day. I have personally had this service from sky with every new fault i have logged so i think at times they dont get the credit they deserve.

As for CST as well they are again very helpful guys, if i want my line reconfigured i just call up CST direct and they do it there and then. I have just recently purchesed a billion 7800n router and its been rock solid and really is a top router all be it pricey.
