Homeplugs & Sagem router
Not sure if this is in the correct forum, if not perhaps a member of staff can move it to the correct place.
I have a Sky Sagem 2504 wireless router which has been in constant use for approx 3 yrs now, I don't know if it is a N model or otherwise, dark grey case with dimples, firmware V2.8. I am fairly happy as can be with my download speeds for normal internet stuff, 13396kbps download speed and 770kbps upload speed at the time of typing this (Namesco broadbad speed test). Router is in my back room connected to master phone box by approx 1.5mtr of phone cable. I am hoping to be able to connect to my tv or PVR box to broadband connection, tv is capable of wifi connection and both have lan cable sockets, they are both in the front room.
I am considering getting a pair of Homeplugs as wifi signal strength is too weak in the front room for streaming so I can watch the like of BBC Iplayer and other channels on tv via the Humax Foxsat PVR.
I am a bit confused as whether to get the 85mbps or 200mbps models. It will not be for games but purely streaming movies etc. I'd appreciate any advice you can give.
I am using 64 bit Win 7 4gb ram, currently using a D-Link DWL-G510 Wireless-G PCI Adapter in PC to talk to the router, I also have available a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC not in use at the moment.
. I have posted my router stats if it helps

Either will do the job for you.
I will let others with more experience give you their advice etc~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

I use 85 Mbsec Homeplugs for both Anytime+ and iPlayer (via my Sony TV). I can download Anytime+ programmes and stream iPlayer at the same time so the network has LOTS of spare capacity.
