Haven't been online hardly at all, orange light!
1) Broadband unlimited was activated on Tuesday 15th November when i moved into my new flat, Line stats and speed looked good 4mbit in the 30mins of testing, however ping to any uk town was 70ms!
2) Stayed over at family till Thursday, When I arrived at my flat orange light was flashing every second
3) Fit a brand new faceplate with inbuilt filter, reconnected broadband and Solid Green Light
4) Friday Orange light again , this time it's staying orange and no amount of resetting will turn it green
It shows
Connected : 9326kbps down / 950kbps up
Broadband Connection : Disconnected
If you try to use the admin settings to retry the connection to the broadband it says Connecting....... Access Denied
Sky have said it could be an exchange fault in Herne Bay, however they've had no comeback and no fault listing with the exchange. But they did say to me, It's failing to connect to the network.

Which router you using - Sky's or your own?

There are a couple of other factors which could be causing this problem.
Whilst there have been no significant issues with the newest Sky router (Sagem 2504N), your profile indicates that you have the older Sagem 2504. This has a reputation for faulty PSUs.
I would be tempted to find a friend and borrow their Sky router or, provided that it is an identical spec, use another PSU from a spare router.
If the problem goes away, then let Sky know and ask for a new PSU (or router) to be sent to you.

Don't need to hack anything, if it's a Sky router it'll work (assuming it's not been suspended at Sky's end)

I can confirm Sky Broadband and phones are currently down in Herne Bay. Very frustrating! Matt, Poorly PCs

Hi Folks,
I can confirm on the back of your reports there currently is an outage in the Herne Bay area. We have engineers currently working on the fault and as soon as I have an update I'll be back.
