Some questions ples (new user!)
Hello
I am a new member here and have a few questions!
I have recently joined SKYbroadband.
I have had SKY TV for many years, and have had BT line rental and BE internet some time.
I have decided to swtich to SKY broadband to save on monthly costs.
Although i have not yet received my SKY router, welcome package etc i am starting to question whether i have made the right decision! Here is why:
1. I have never had any issues with BT or BE internet
2. My wife and I sometimes work from home in the lounge (downstairs) and the router has always been in the loft (converted), nevertheless we have always had strong wireless in all parts of our home.
So my questions are as follows:
1. What router will i recieve? Is it any good?
2. Am i likely or unlikely to get the same or better wireless signal?
Would appreciate your expert opinions, thanks!

Re: Some questions ples (new user!)
The current router being supplied is the Sagemcom 2504N. It is a 150mbps router which is a lot better, wireless wise, than the previous Sky routers. Whether it will have as good coverage as your previous router we can't really say. If you were using a G router it probably will be better, but if you had a full N router it will probably not be. Many use their own routers to connect to Sky, which although it is against the T & Cs, Sky have taken no action so far.
We always recommend that the router be plugged into your Master socket for the best performance.

Re: Some questions ples (new user!)
If you are getting Sky Unlimited you will have access to Anytime+. It is more or less automatic for a new connection but you may have to ensure it is included in your package. You can check this on your MySky page when the time comes.
