with your current setup thats your max
i would check your internal wiring
to rule it out any problems in the house
wire it up as so in the master socket (the very first socket into the house)
and re post the stats plz
Your line lengh is very short you should get 24mbit with ease
you also look to be on an easynet globespan dslam

I will do the above test later.
Rebooted the router to see if that would make a difference but it didn't.

Thats very poor for an 11.5 db attenuation
are you sure its the first socket into the house
trace the wire from outside into the house

It may be a low quality copper coated line. Have you checked your voice line for noise?
Do a simple resistance test, bring up your router stats and dial a number, your own would do. Does the noise margin change by much?
