Sagem @ light switching from amber to green

Hi all since yesterday morning I have been having problems with my modem which means I can't connect to the Internet my modem is the dark grey sagem and the problems I am receiveing is that the @ light starts by flashing amber then a constant amber light, then this switches too green for all of 8 seconds then the process starts again and has been doing the same for hours on end. I have tried resetting the modem soft and hard, tried new filters but no joy. I have also rang sky but they just tell u stuff u have already tried. I have access to another modem which is a old orange modem Netgear N150 wireless modem DGN1000 and wondered my sky modem was fried would I be able to use this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When the light is a constant solid amber, if you remove the dsl cable, does the internet light go off or stay on?

The light goes off after about 8 secs and stays off

I am not 100% sure it the Unlimited pack but will be able to find out tomorrow when the parents are back the stats are

Just to confirm the package is the unlimited package and the stats from the statistics page change every 20 seconds due the connection dropping and reconnecting

Likely looking at some huge wiring fault or a line fault. Do you have any issues or noise on the landline telephone?

Assuming you have one in the property, take a set of stats from the test socket with just simply a filter and the short grey dsl cable that Sky provided running to the router. No extensions or other equipment whilst taking the stats:
