The screw holes on the box are used to fix the main box on. The faceplate then screws on to the NTE5 body.

I see, my nte5 (just had one installed last Saturday by a BTO engineer) is a bit different. The screws that hold the backbox are in the centre so if I was to take it off and fit it in the OP's house it won't fit.
Maybe they've got different variations of the backbox then.

Yes the screws for the back-plate are in the centre as they are in this box, the screws for the faceplate are about 25mm from the bottom.
