Sky TV Subscriber upgrading to Sky BB
Currently we have Sky TV with all subscriptions plus Multiroom. Our household has 2 BT lines, 1 of which has both the Sky boxes connected to it and the other is my own line that I use for the Internet as it's in the same room as my PC.
The question i have is: if I upgraded my Sky package to goto Sky Broadband Unlimited does it necessarily need to run off the same phone line as Sky or could be be run from the 2nd line? I would then be able to benifit from Anytime+ from the Sky HD box which is also in the pc room.
Cheers

Re: Sky TV Subscriber upgrading to Sky BB
You are aware that to get broadband Sky now require you to take their phone rental? This would mean you would have to change one of your lines and I can't see why you can't choose which line you want to transfer. You could always tell them one of the lines is a business line and can't be changed.

Re: Sky TV Subscriber upgrading to Sky BB
Do you really need 2 lines? If you don't, cancel one of them.

Re: Sky TV Subscriber upgrading to Sky BB
If you use the Internet & 2nd telephone line for business purposes, please remember that Sky Broadband is a domestic product and as such does not have the same guaranteed levels of service.
You may want to consider this when arranging things.
As for choosing which line you have your broadband on, there should be no reason why you can specify which line should be used.

Re: Sky TV Subscriber upgrading to Sky BB
Typically, in a modern scenario, Sky require your internet connection to be linked to the landline telephone number they have against your account - if they don't have one against your subscription, perhaps they can activate it on your chosen line.
