Re: Megaupload
I'm also having problems connecting to megaupload using sky broadband
My browser won't connect to the server most of the time, and when it does - it normally takes a minute to load.

Re: Megaupload
I have just come to use MU, I use it now and again to download the odd film (not porn), and now I cannot use it. I am a fully paid up member too, just last week I paid for my yearly subscription to MU.
Is it blocked for good or what? It is a right royal pain in the backside. This is taking things too far with SKY, I may just leave them for one of the little ISP out there.
This is the message I get when trying to access MU....
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.megaupload.com/?
The following error was encountered:Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.megaupload.comThe dnsserver returned:Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query. This means that:

Re: Megaupload
You know Im all for the eradication of kiddie pron from the web and the prosecution of those that deal and traffic in it.
But to block an ENTIRE COUNTRY for the misdeeds of a few is f****** retarded to the extreme. Its the take a sledgehammer to crack a nut scenario all over again. Why dont they just motion MU to remove the content, then get the IPs of those uploading it so they can bang them in court? They could also very easily have the web sites hosting said links taken down.
Absolutely unbelievable. Whotf are these people who have so much power they can turn a countries access off just like that? What makes me even more angry is that the main profiteers in all this are the media mafia themselves aka the copyrighted content providers.

Re: Megaupload
Don't work for me either, but tbh if it is because of the reasons you state, so be it.

Re: Megaupload
I am not able to load it yet using http://www.megaupload.com/ but I am not convinced this is a IWF problem. It is a DNS Server problem as stated in the error message. My reason for saying this is that if you try entering the URL, MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service you will find that you get through.
The actual URL is 174.140.154.22
