Tried plugging into the test socket with no phones attached, the same thing happens.
I've also tried plugging the router directly into the socket, without the telephone connected at all, and the same problem arises.
I was looking at the Connection details today, when the Internet went down, and the Modem Status read "PPP Server Down". Never had this before, and the orange LED indicator on the front of the router came on also.
Any ideas?
I've included a picture of the Statistics window, just after the Internet goes out and has come on again (It disconnects 30 minutes later).

I think the upstream noise margin indicates that there is a problem with your line, or possibly the filter. Try changing the filter and take your stats from the Test socket and post them please. If you can borrow a non Sky filter, all the better, the Sky filters are sometimes faulty and if one is, the whole batch is probably effected.

Looks like a line fault - you still have noise on the landline with the handset direct into the test socket, without any filters or other equipment connected? If so, call your line rental provider and log the fault.
