Question About Cancelling Sky Phone, BB & TV.
We have finally had enough of sky broadband the TV and the Phone & would like to switch to virgin, as we can get it in our area. Can we just cancel everything? We did get another year contract with the broadband last year about June, which dropped our broadband price to 7.50 a month but now we would like to cancel the lot, we got sky HD + just before Xmas, and the signal kept going on the dish, losing all channels, when it rained we had no signal at all, but even when the weather was good, we lost signal a lot. So can we just phone sky and say we want to cancel it all due to the TV always going off, even the broadband is rubbish to be honest, we only get 7Mbps out of 20Mbps & that sometimes goes off as well, and is not good enough for gaming.

The best way is to find out yourself. Ring them. The advisor might not be interested in even transferring you to cancellations because you are still in contract. If that is the case you will have to write them a letter.

They will understand but like I said it might not be that straight forward. You will get there eventually.

You can cancel everything you are not in contract for without any problem. If you have only had the TV for about 7 months, you may have to pay up the rest of the contract. 31 days notice is required so the quicker you get the ball rolling the better.
