Re: Snr
Trouble is on this occasion i admit i had'nt posted my stats in the first place but you assume everyone that posts is a noob regarding broadband stats, and the truth is some of us know more than the majority of first stage phone techs at sky, hence the reason i had'nt posted my stats initially.
I apologise for coming across rude but i was pretty frustrated with the previous phone call and your initial response reminded me of the guy i had just spoken to, nothing personal.

Re: Snr
But if you're asking for help it's helpful to post stats in your OP as you'll always be asked for them. Not everyone knows what's going on with your connection history

Re: Snr
So i just called sky again, reason being if i ring later there seems to be a better chance of speaking to someone that is'nt reading from a script.
The guy runs some tests and tells me that he could'nt get anything over 6.5mb stable and dlm has to be ran, i explain my fears that if nothing changes on my line between now and the finish of dlm testing that it will cap my speed even lower but he assures me that it should'nt happen but if it does just to ring and they'll look into it further.
just checked my router stats and my noise margin has increased from 7 to 9.4 so already an improvement.

Re: Snr
An increase in SNR means there's more speed to be gained so hopefully DLM will see this and increase the speed
