Filesonic & sky
anyone know of any issues with filesonic and sky b/b ?
i ask because my filesonic premium acc is downloading really, really slow...as of 1hr ago....
all speedtests show normal speeds
are sky b/b starting to filter out file hosting sites ?
i know some other isp's that use iwf filtering.....
i hope sky are not going down that road ...

What files are you trying to download? There's always other options.

Re: Filesonic & sky
vob file music videos !
dont want to go down torrent way..na na...to risky
sometimes ( filesonic ) speeds start at full whack, then quickly go down to 200-400kbp/s.....
UPDATE -----
Just downloaded movie file from rapidshare @ full speed......all the way till finish.....so it MUST either be filesonic's end or sky are introducing iwf filtering for filesonic......if they are, that sucks big time..
Also means, its only a matter of time before they filter ALL file hosts....
And that aint good for anyone, except sky of courseLast edited by bigj2552; 22-07-11 at 07:09 PM.

Re: Filesonic & sky
Sky have always used IWF filtering, as do most UK ISPs. If bad content is discovered, normally it would lead to the server being banned, you would not notice a slow down, just a dead stop.
