Hi, new to Sky Broadband

Hi all, I've just moved to Sky Broadband from BT to take advantage of Anytime+ and had my line switched over yesterday. I had a 13mb connection with BT and was wondering what speeds I can expect with Sky.
My router stats are as follows

Connection Speed 4095 kbps 510 kbps
Line Attenuation 18.0 dB 9.4 dB
Noise Margin 16.4 dB 22.5 dB

Probably 18meg or thereabouts. That's sync speed , throughput around 16meg. Maybe a little more on both.

Provided that you use the short grey ADSL lead supplied by Sky, have a good connection to the telephone exchange, that your router is plugged into the Master Socket and that any extensions are not interfering, you should sync at above 19,000 kbps for the downstream & over 1,000kbps upstream.

You may wish to invest in a filtered faceplate if you have any hardwired telephone extensions.

As for throughput, a wired connection should give you above 16Mb d/l.

Looking good, by the time your NM comes down to 7 you'll be flying along, probably 18mb +. Nice line you have there.

With a sync speed of 12280, I don't believe that speedtest, its just not possible.
