Connection dropouts and slow speed during peak
Hi,
My BB Unlimited connection has become painfully bad during what seems to be weekday early evenings and sometimes daytime Saturdays. Right now, the connection is dropping completely for 10-20 seconds every few minutes (with the Network Meters sidebar tool stats resetting), and when it does hold out, will struggle to stream even Radio 1 without frequent buffering.
This is what my router currently shows...
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 5024 kbps 796 kbps
Line Attenuation 50.0 db 27.2 db
Noise Margin 6.1 db 11.5 db
The router is plugged directly into the master socket. No extensions. My area is Tynemouth.
Anyone experiencing similar troubles?

Re: Connection dropouts and slow speed during peak
This could be another case of insufficient backhall from the exchange during peak times. This first started to show on some exchanges when Anytime+ was introduced. You should call Sky and make them aware of the problem, they may be unaware that a problem exists. The previous exchanges that were effected have been fixed.
