moving house
hi guys n girls...
first off let me say my sky B/B has been great since i got connected mths ago....
full speeds always and no **** up from the 2304 router ( after update ).....
i,m moving home next month......can i still take the same router ( user/password ) with me when i move ?......and just connect it at new home ?
obviously i need to phone sky to tell em i,m moving ......
how long before new connection is live in new home ?
and i take it i,m have to go through dlm all over again ? :-(..
one very happy customer.....hopefully that will continue in new house :-)

Yes you can take the router with you and just plug it in. Speak to the moving homes department, be warned however, if you give them a date you want your services cancelled by in your current property they often get a bit trigger happy and cut you off too early.
In general its 10-14 days to provision the line for Broadband, on the phone side it might be quicker, just depends on whether you need an engineer to fit a socket and whether there are any line issues. Bear in mind they can't activate your services in your new home till they are cancelled down in this one as you can't have two service instances on one account.
