cant access certain websites

hi there all DJ Adizzle here

i rang sky up about 3 times now to see why i cant access certain websites like bbc.co.uk
scootertechno.com

and the My Sky site

they dont know what it is, firewall, TCP/IP settings, Browser and everything is fine.. but i still cant access these websites. they are not down because i went to my mums house and they work on her internet

im on Windows 7 x64

if anyone knows whats going on can you please help me

Start your PC in safe mode with networking, try another browser etc, you aren't even telling us what browser you are running so how can people help?

Its probably because you have one of the new Sky '2' addresses. Keep trying and you will probably connect. Try a different browser.

ive got chrome, internet explorer and firefox.. they are all the same

about 40% of websites say they cant be accessed on each browser

im getting a speed of 8190 mb, ive checked on the router. they said it should be speeding up to 11 mb within the next 10 days, but this cant be the problem
sky said it could be an issue with my PC, everything seems fine with the pc..

Go to CMD and type 'ipconfig /flushdns'.
Also conduct 'tracert bbc.co.uk' in CMD and copy paste your stats.

The issue lies at your end. Could be a corrupted Ip stack. Check your firewalls, antiviruses.

Also type the following commands in CMD and restart your computer.
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log

You will have to run CMD as administrator. (right click -> run as admin)

Try pinging 212.58.254.252 from a Command Prompt, if you don't get a reply, open the Router Settings and click the Diagnostics tab, put in 212.58.254.252 and press ping. Do you get a reply.

I am fairly sure it is your IP address that is not getting recognised.
