Yeah i know, it will be within the next 12 months when i'm moving so it will probably be close to the end of the contract anyway, i'll probably move over to virgin as 100mbit should in use by the time i end up getting it, possibly even 200mbit, that would be amazing

Depending on where you move to, FTTP might be available.
This has promised speeds currently of 1Gbit d/l & 600Mb u/l.
I want FTTP

With speeds like that, makes you think SKY could deliver all TV just by internet. Get rid of the dustbin lids on the houses....

Re: Just signed up to Sky, Confused about "cooling off" period.
There are plans to stream more live TV content over the Internet already in place. This is also known as IPTV.
I am not just referring to things like BBC iPlayer, or sites like TV Catchup, but actual content that is streamed as a single item to the telephone exchange, then individually streamed to those who want to watch the same channel.
It is already possible to watch HD TV streamed live, but only if you are not doing lots of other things at the same time.

Re: Just signed up to Sky, Confused about "cooling off" period.
Just a quick update, i received a great service from Sky, and received a constant 14meg after the second day of install, but i have now moved property and the new property only is capable of 4meg from Sky, so i've cancelled.
As i stated before that i wasn't capable of receiving fiber but i can now i have moved and order 50meg to be installed from virgin, i didn't expect to move so fast, but here i am.
Thanks to all who helped and have a happy Sky future!
