The way I see it all the cars which are behind the leader who catch up and form a line, must have exceeded the speed of the safety car or they would not have caught up. That's why I find it puzzling that they can single out a specific car to penalize.

Re: New Sky User (well, ordered tonight!)
Today is the big day!
Last night I disconnected my BT Broadband router and used 3G for the evening (ironically, 3G in my house is faster than Broadband..............)
Then connected up the Sky router using the Sky supplied cable (so none of the remnants from my BT installation were left) and left it.
I have no idea if it has started working yet as I am at work, but will get the wife to check later if it is working (at least) then I can get a proper look once I am home. I'll let you know how I get on

That is about normal with the standard 4Mb start.

No, that speedtest is my signature BT Broadband speed from before.
I'll see what I've got when I get home (or if my wife pops on MSN this afternoon I'll get her to run one)

Re: New Sky User (well, ordered tonight!)
OK so Day 1 yields the following : -
Connection Speed 4095 kbps 605 kbps
Line Attenuation 26.5db 15.3db
Noise Margin 15.9db 17.2db
Are these looking healthy? The router has already upgraded itself to 2.04, so massive thanks to Scubbie for suggesting that I rip the username/password out before putting it on the line!
Current speed test: -
Already 0.4 better than BT and this is just day 1... Looking forward to the rest of the DLM period being seen out!
