Best thing to do is remove everything from the phone circuit then plug a filter into the master socket, plug the router into that and take the stats.
Do you have an alarm wired into your phone?

Hi all,
I unplugged, plugged, etc. even fitted the extra filter to the other phone line...
No change
But I read somewhere in the forum about rebooting while the noise margin was high, and at 28.9dB last night and a download speed of 267kbs I thought what the hell??
I now have a download speed of 4.088Mbs
I'll take any crumbs, but when your use to 90Mbs at work...

The change may not have been apparent to you, but if you got a noise margin of 28.9db, there obviously was a change.I unplugged, plugged, etc. even fitted the extra filter to the other phone line...
