hi,i was wondering if anyone could help with a newsleecher problem i have.
i have downloaded and installed newsleecher and my isp is sky.com which it seems does not have any newsgroups unlike other isp's is it possible to get newsleecher working or have i wasted my anual fee by paying for newsleecher ?
many thanks for any help with this.

Re: newsleecher
sky does not host any newsgroups so you will either need to find a free usenet provider or pay for one i'm afraid.

Re: newsleecher
I've not used newsgroups for a while (too many viruses and there's not much legit stuff to be found on them). I did use claranews, with newsleecher, when I did tho but this was about 5 years ago!!!!!

Re: newsleecher
I use Giganews, not the cheapest but one of the best. Contary to the above, I find less nasties getting stuff from newsgroups than P2P/torrents etc.

Re: newsleecher
You could also try Astraweb, you don't have to have a monthly subscription with them.
You can buy a block of download, and use it when ever you need, it does not expire.
Also you can pay by PayPal.
Scooby.
