Re: Are my stats ok, Just moved house.
Ok thanks I'll get on it asap, there's alot of phone sockets 1 in the living room, 1 in the hall, 1 in all three bedrooms upstairs. We also have sky multiroom in all 3 rooms upstairs aswell as in the living room. I also had a look at all the sockets and none had a test socket, the only socket that looked any different was the one in the hall as it has a T in the bottom right.
.
Another strange thing is the socket in the hall has 2 white wires coming out the bottom and go up stairs to a socket in one of the bedrooms.
You said I should use a filter on all sockets if I do that what would I put in the ADSL socket on the filter.
What is this ADSL TRANING thing im getting.
Another thing is Im seeing Network Type MER on the sky 192.168.0.1 page. I can't ever remember it being that.
Here are some more stats

ADSL training just means it is trying to connect, nothing to worry about. It does not mean it is on DLM or anything like that.

Re: Are my stats ok, Just moved house.
The way things are you need to replace the master with either a nte5 with a filtered faceplate or a XTF-85 and keep the router there.

Re: Are my stats ok, Just moved house.
lol. Sorry
Is replacing the master socket going to be a problem or keeping your router downstairs?
Or both?

Re: Are my stats ok, Just moved house.
Replacing the master socket is going to be the problem, I can keep the router downstairs. I think the broadband is screwed, what would be my next best option.

Re: Are my stats ok, Just moved house.
The XTF-85 is a faceplate with two screws similiar to your current master socket with a 'T'. So cosmetically there won't be a big difference between the two.
Only other option is to get Virgin broadband if you are in a cable area and scrap adsl broadband.
