Why do websites think I'm in Germany?
I'm a little confused since moving to Sky broadband.
For some reason, websites are wrongly identifying my location as Germany.
If i log onto the play.com website via my mobile broadband dongle I am welcomed with prices in £ and a Union Jack flag with text stating free delivery on everything.
If I log onto the same website on the same laptop via my sky connection I am welcomed with prices in Euro's and a German flag stating free delivery to Germany.
If it helps, I'm using firefox 4.0, no proxies enabled.
My IP address is 2.218.254.124.
Any bright ideas gratefully received!

Re: Why do websites think I'm in Germany?
I think it is probably a another problem with the addresses starting with '2'. The server used by the UK is not recognising the new address range and passing it on to the German server which is. This is happening with quite a few sites, even in the same company, the servers will eventually update and accept the address.
This actually happened quite a lot in the early days of Sky when their addresses first went on line. Several sites refused to load.
