Slow internet speeds, whats wrong?
Okay so basically i switched to sky 16mb recently and i thought i wouldn't receive that but it would be higher than the 8 mb i had before.
However i am mostly getting around 6mb with a 0.5 upload...
i live approx 1.2km from the exchange, with attenuation of 30db/11db... i can get any other info required but can anyone tell me why its so slow?

Re: Slow internet speeds, whats wrong?
You should get an 8Mb download with that using ethernet. You will get a bit less with wireless, but you may get more by changing the router channel.
You should be syncing a bit higher 13-14 Mb, so if you have a Test socket, plug in there and take your stats and post them.
