utorrent and Sagemcom F@ST2304
just had broadband installed via LLU
i have a sagecom F@ST2304 router, am using wireless tplink adapter, the issue i have is everytime i use my utorrent, the connection goes down, sky disappears from list of connections and have to reboot both pc and router to get it back.
sometimes within mins it goes down, sometime maybe 30mins, but it goes down every time
any ideas what issues could be.

Try using the Ethernet Cable supplied?

Re: utorrent and Sagemcom F@ST2304
A couple of things for you to try:
* as GrimTech has suggested, use an Ethernet cable to see if this resolves the issue, WiFi is prone to several issues at the moment
* try limiting the upload speed to around 60% of the maximum bandwidth available
You have a similar upload speed to my own. I've found that by limiting the upload usage to 65 kB/s during the day allows me to browse comfortably and keeps the ratios at a reasonable level.
Between midnight & 8am this figure rises to 90 kB/s. Any higher than this interferes with the torrents.

Whoops!
Could you try to see if using an Ethernet cable resolves the issue?
If it does, then I would highly recommend a suitable pair of HomePlugs. These wonderful little gadgets work as though you have a long Ethernet cable running between them, but use your electrical wiring to transmit the signal.
They cost from around £35-£150. Try to aim for a pair that transmits using 100mbps or 200mbps and have a pass-through socket for the mains plug. They don't work too well on surge protected extensions, hence the pass-through socket suggestion.

Re: utorrent and Sagemcom F@ST2304
i will go find a long ethernet cable as just did it again, am playing with upload and download speeds to see if that helps. down to max upload of 50kbs and max download of 1mb, so see how this gets on, also cut files to 2 downloading at time.lol
