well at the risk of getting a slower connection i tried downloading the iphone update 26 meg into it all connections go the router still broadcasts the SSID but wired or wireless connections won't work

Your speed seems to be the best your going to get from the looks of that im afraid... 60db for you line attenuation is rather... um rubbish. someone on sky customer services might be able to squeeze a little more speed out of your line but it might end up making your internet a bit unstable.

well the way its going atm it completly unuseable with having to reset the router all the time

also the question was never about the speed but why when i download stuff it lose all connection to the router and all the router is able to do is broadcast a SSID but i'm unable to connect till i reset the router at one stage i was getting 330 kb/s stable but because of this issue it keeps dropping

The WAN uptime column in your rourter stats shows how long you have been connected to the exchange. Your total uptime at the time you took your stats is 1:24:40 (time your router has been on) but you have been in sync for slightly over two minutes (time you have been connected to the exchange). I think you are constantly loosing sync with the exchange. This is an indication of a line fault. You will have to call sky to have this sorted. You may also want to ask them to try your line on G.DMT.
Do you notice any noise or crackles on your line? You can dial 17070 from your phone and conduct a quiet line test.

i did a quiet line test but there was any crackles that i could tell
the problem the lines i beleave they installed aluminum wiring

ok and it everything just stopped again had to reboot
