Re: Anti Virus
Don't worry.
Sky bought out the Easynet network sometime ago now. Rather than go in and change the Easynet equipment and get a whole new range of IP addresses, they've incorporated both.
It sound's like your software is using old information and isn't as up to date as perhaps it should be.

Re: Anti Virus
How you update your AV software will depend on which one it is. Whether it will correctly identify your ISP is down to the software vendor updating their records.
Sky announced the purchase of Easynet in October 2005. Other members may know when the purchase went through, alternatively you could search the web.

Re: Anti Virus
The reverse DNS entries for the Easynet network have not been changed since sky bought Easynet. The firewall is presumably checking the reverse DNS for the OP's gateway address, which will be cr0.<BT exchange name>.uk.easynet.net.
Eg Portsmouth is cr0.sdpcntc.uk.easynet.net

Re: Anti Virus
Interesting. Thanks for that Fuzzy Logic, although I'm not on the exchange you mentioned, I just completed a tracert and my exchange must have once been Easynet too.
I ran the IP addresses through IPTNetInfo and it reported a mixed response:
89.200.128.46 Network name= Easynet-overlay-network Owner Name= BSkyB Broadband
89.200.133.62 (the next point) gave the same response. After that it went out of Sky's network.
If I punch in the IP address my router is on (94.12.???.???) it comes up as Sky on both counts.
