Re: Usage limit - help please
No, no xbox. Also, I've got a Mac not a PC, so no automatic Windows updates for me either.
I do have a Wii, but haven't had the time to play at all since starting work again mid-Jan. This is why I'm so sure that my usage must be lower this month than in previous months - I was off work for over 2 months from mid-Nov, so played a fair bit Goldeneye online on the Wii.
Wife & I both have iPhones, so we do use WiFi when at home.
Aside from this, we just really use the internet for general surfing and emails but no big movie downloads.
I think I'll just have to keep an eagle eye on my usage. It may well simply be that I've been lucky up till now since have actually been using well over 2GB a month, but Sky have just not picked this up until now.

Re: Usage limit - help please
Just to update, I have now gone over the 2GB for two months and have therefore been automatically upgraded to the Unlimited BB tariff.
I spoke to Sky again and they admitted what I had thought might be the case - they only started monitoring my usage last month and didn't hold any information for periods before this. I am annoyed that the person I spoke to originally seemed to have just lied to me and made up figures for my previous months' usage.
That said, I've probably had a good run up till now on the 2GB tariff and I can't really complain that I'll now have to move up to the more expensive tariff.

Re: Usage limit - help please
For the extra few pounds a month (I know that can hurt some) the Unlimited package really is good value IMHO.
Sky is one of the few companies to actually have a package that does not have any traffic management or peak-time capping, and now this is what you are on.
This should mean that if you were to stream HD video content fro BBC iPlayer during the weekend or in the evening, you shouldn't have any issues.
