Re: broadband drops
Hi ashy111,
Are you able to confirm how long you have been Sky Broadband Customer? it is possible that we could be running DLM on your line which is our Optimised stabalising tool which monitors the speed of your line.
This will run for 10 days after activation & can cause intermittent connect whilst the line is being optimised. If you have had the Sky Broadband for more than 10 days there could be a fault & if you Contact Us so we can run a line test .

Re: broadband drops
Hi
I was activated on 17th March but didnt receive the router till the 24th March. The line has been tested yesterday as i rang Sky, didnt seem to be any problems with the line but the lady still insisted someone come out and check the line. So i am awaiting a visit from an engineer on the 26th April, im putting my money on the problem being with the router

Re: broadband drops
OK i am finally up and running at last! Had a man from BT come to check the line last week who could not find any problems with line, got on the phone to Sky (twice) got the old Sagem sky router through the post and its running just fine. What a total waste of time the new sagem (F@st 2304) router has been! nothing but problems for 2 months. i've had this router running for a few hours without ANY cut offs
