Broadband Connected Today Can You Guys Help With Speed?

I have just had my phone and broadband connected today these are my stats. please not this is not using the test socket.

Connection Speed 4095 kbps 605 kbps
Line Attenuation 19.0 dB 11.2 dB
Noise Margin 15.3 dB 16.2 dB

I thought I would of got a higher speed as the exchange is pretty much behind my garden + 250 Meters.

Do you guys think my speed will increase after the first 10 days?

Your noise margin is a bit low for your attenuation. Are these stats from the master socket or an extension? How many extensions have you got if any?

I have no extensions, these stats are not from my master socket. i was originally told around 16-20mb but i know they only estimate these things

I'm assuming you meant the stats were from your master socket. Go ahead and post your stats from your test socket.

If your test socket increased your noise margin 16-20Mb would be a very realistic possibility, probably nearer the 20Mb

yeah I meant Master socket. this test was done in the test socket. I didnt switch off my router before i did the test. it looks pretty much the same as before..

Was looking for a more drastic change. You can try different filters or adsl cables if you want, though I doubt it will get any better. Just sit back and relax. Do post back when your speed goes up. It will be interesting to see your final sync.

Hi DLM will start in 3 to 4 days time and will last for about 10 days. You will receive a letter explaining. 4095 kbps 605 kbps is the starting speed there is nothing wrong with your noise margin. As it will go down to about 7db so there is plenty to work with. You should receive around 19 Mbs maybe a bit more. The main thing is not to mess about with the connection. While DLM is running.

Just thought I keep you guys updated, I know it's early days but here are the stats today. From master socket but not plugged into test socket.
