Think i have tried all from my end well think i have..
Sockets totally new.
Tried 2 pcs tower running Xp and laptop running Vista both same as this W7 pc im using..Also those other pcs work fine on frieds ISPs.
Have done all tests from master socket with same results..
Have new router Dlink(black) one which i think is a bit flimsey and not as good as Netgear one, same slow connection.
What baffles me is at start of all this i had steady game profile for at least 2 years which ran steady at 4Mb 640kbs which was perfect for me..This then degraded to 3Mb 540 which started all the problems .After renewing everything and talking to Sky the connection ran steady for at least 4 days at 5.5 Mb 620 up and net ran fine..
This connection then collapsed and is slow on all browsers Chrome IE and Firefox.
However all the router tests show good connection of 5Mb 600 up (as they are now but im lucky to be able to post this message)Not sure what all the router stats mean think you guys know what they mean and am i gettin errors or packet loss according to stats ive posted?
Really think ive exhausted all my ideas or things from my end that i can think of or have had suggested by people on here so its going to have to be a Sky Engineer.
Really gratefull for all advice on here and if you can think of anything else im all ears..
Thing is i need the Net for work as i upload/recieve a lot of data concerning work..
Going to try and generate an engineer callout to hopefully get to bottom of this problem...

Right heres my update..
Had call last night of very helpfull bloke from Sky technical who had my line reconnected in the exchange..the net at the moment seems a lot better although still not as fast as it was.
He did say to give it some time to sync and i am getting a call tomorrow afternoon at 3pm to check how it is..If its still not right then a home visit from an engineer is last thing to do.
At least i have a connection at the moment which i havnt had all week so its done something.
May go down the engineer route as well just to check master socket and get that changed also ..Missus does tend to knock it with the hoover now and again..

Just to update anyone if you get similar probs to what i had..
Seems it was an exchange problem from the start ..
Sky did a new connection for me at the exchange now all seems well...
Did take 3 weeks to get to a conclusion but suppose thats way it goes.
Stats at the moment are better than they have ever been
