Might want to change the settings as well to allow DNS pre-fetching won't really speed it up much but will make accessing common websites faster.

Not 100% percent sure but it looks like your delays is set at 16 maybe for stability.

It would be possible to change some settings

if there are no erros they could change the max delays to 8ms or ask for a gamer profile same thing

not sure if the uberGT firmware allows you to change it yourself

DNS pre fetching already ticked not sure what uberGT firmware is?

I would also move over to use OpenDNS or GoogleDNS as the Sky one was terrible when I was with Sky, mind you o2's DNS was just as bad.

googles DNS are preferred 8.8.8.8 alternative 8.8.4.4

UberGT firmware would replace the sky firmware and enable you to reconfigure your own connect the same as CST can do. Haven't used it so can't tell you the exact settings you can change.

Update again my stats have dropped again gone from steady 6mb all day yesterday to a now 4.5Mb ..really baffles me...

They have moved you off Fast path but left you on ADSL2. I would ask them to put your line on G.DMT, it may give you a more stable speed.

If i say can you put me on G.DMT will they know what i mean (pardon my ignorance but what does it stand for)
Also will the more stable line be better for my gaming..on this G.DMT

G.DMT is basically plain ADSL. Whether who you call will know what it is, depends on what agent you get. What you can try is asking to be put through to the Customer Solutions Team as you would like your ping reduced. When you get there tell them you are having stability problems with your gaming, could they put your line on G.DMT to see if it will be more stable. If you get a decent one, they will be able to change your line and reduce your ping at the same time.

It should not make your connection worse unless you are unlucky enough to get a ham fisted idiot, most of CST are pretty good.
