      Download Speed Issue

      Hi there,

      hoping someone can help. my download speed has completely slowed up in last month. have spoken to sky a bunch of times and they dont seem to have an answer. the system says im being delivered 5megs ish but im actually getting around 0.5-1.5. have tried searching the forum but all the pages are taking so long to load ive had to start a new thread

      im using a dlink router although sky sent me a new sagem router today which has also made no difference. have tried changing micro filters as well. all very frustrating as even though its the basic package it used to be fine for my needs.

      Your problem sounds eerily familiar.

      Could you confirm what Exchange you are on please?

      There are a number of exchanges that are experiencing problems in different areas of the country. some have been fixed, but others are still being sorted.

      Also can you confirm which BB package you have? From your stats I would guess it is either Sky BB Lite or sky BB Unlimited. If you are unsure, try to check your account on the website.

      when u say that you are gettin 0.5 is that from a speed test or download throughput

      are u using wireless?

      also if u can can u post full stats and then we can see errors and if ur getting ur max
