It is difficult to know what to advise. All I can think of is that you get through to Sky CST and convince them that you need a BT engineer sent out as you must have a fault on your line. It is not easy to get done, but you can try. Maybe one of the Sky bods on here can advise further.

I think the next step would be verify with Sky what exchange they've got you down as connected too and if it concurs with samknows then convince them you need an engineer as the exchange is so close and your speed far too low.

Re: Upgraded to Sky Unlimited and something does not add up!
just a quick update on this, managed to get through to some Tier 2 Tech Support after ringing 5 times yesterday, the final call cutting me off after waiting on hold for 10 mins(!)
Verified I'm on the Cregagh Exchange and the line length is 2888m.....to where that goes is mystery to me lol. Also had a lot of errors building up and he remotely reset the router for me (big whoop.)
Can anyone answer me this? How much is the rate for calling Sky?
Really wishing I had went Virgin Cable now!Last edited by düb; 10-11-10 at 02:42 PM.

Re: Upgraded to Sky Unlimited and something does not add up!
Sky uses Easynet to manage it's backhaul so it's normal to see that. If you haven't moved houses since you first started this thread then you are definitely on Sky LLU broadband.

It looks like SpeedIO has changed their database. I've just taken a gander at their site and mine now comes up with Easynet too.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
